It's beginning to look...

...a lot like Christmas.
Adelaide picked out a great tree

Trimming the tree with tunes and noggs.
Sawyer looks on with feigned interest.

A beautiful sunset from our house. We received 6-7inches of snow last week. So, it's definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

D.C.

We had a great adventure in the big city of Washington DC. A few shots from our journey.
So much to do...so little time, but we managed, in a three day window, to go to the zoo, ride the metro to the Mall where we visited the Air and Space Museum, Museum of Natural History, and the Native American Museum.
We saw two plays for kids and ate yummy food!
We love vacation!

Adelaide and friend, Carver, excited about their first day of school....hmmm, I wonder how you can tell? We luckily have a short walk (or run) up the hill.

(They stopped for a breather...and a quick pose (such hams!)).

Dr. Broccoli

Who says you can't make friends with broccoli? (Unfortunately this has not heightened Adelaide's willingness to eat it). Cousin Ava, Dr. Broccoli and Adelaide at a park in Decatur.

Finally, Spring has sprung. Enjoying these long days of sunshine.

Body Map!

Adelaide and Mason making soap (putting flowers in the soap) during ArtSpring last weekend. They visited various galleries around town and made paper, soap, beads, candles and erasers (which don't really erase).
It was a great weekend.

April is Fooling...

Winter does not want to end.
Taken from our window this morning and it's still coming down. Adelaide is wondering where Spring is?
