This is an old video (summer). It was Adelaide's first attempt at singing. At that time in her life, she liked to pull clothes out of the laundry basket (hence the props in her hands). It is hard to hear the music in the background, but she really is singing to it. Enjoy.
Cold temps and snow have kept us inside most of the day.
We have spent the day singing, dancing, coloring, making balloon sculptures, reading, eating, relaxing, and playing with the baby dolls, oh and stickers.
This is my new "flower hat" (below). Adelaide indulges me with my balloon sculptures-usually hats. We both have static hair after we wear them. I know I shouldn't be filling up the landfill with latex, but what is a girl and a toddler to do on a cold, snowy day such as this, but make balloon sculptures?
Yesterday brought a sunny, warm day in the high 50s. We knew a cold front was moving in over the weekend-snow in the forecast-so we tried to take advantage of the weather. We didn't make it too far, though. (To the end of the driveway to be exact). Let the puddle jumping "splashing" begin!
